A few weeks ago the Greys took me to Tasmazia. It is this crazy, awesome place that was named one of the top ten family attractions in the world by South Africa's leading travel company. According to them it is on par with Disneyland. Now I'm not sure how accurate that is, but it was a really cool place. I had a lot of fun. There are eight different mazes on the site. Some of them are even within other mazes. And the Great Maze is one of the largest mazes in the world. It is pretty spectacular. It was really tall and quite big. It had a bit of a Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire feel to it, that is if you take out all the signs with jokes and cheesey sayings and went through it at night. All I could think about was how cool it would be if you could rent out the place and play a giant wide game in the big maze. It would be so cool. Some other things Tasmazia has are a whole village built to 1/5 scale. Very much like the model village in Hot Fuzz. There is also a Lavender farm and lots of topiary bushes. We had a great time. The fact that the girls were there made it even more fun. This is one of my favourite things I have done so far. It is pretty hard to pick favourites when I have gotten to do so many amazing things. But this was such a great day. It was so much cooler than I was expecting and I was happy to spend the afternoon wandering through all the mazes and villages. There is so much to find if you have the time. We spent the afternoon and I think we got through most of the mazes. We might have missed one or two. But there was definitely more to find, especially in the big maze. We found most of the big things, but there were things to see around every corner it seemed.
This day was the first time I shot a whole day with my camera on manual. It was good. I am finally learning how to use it properly. Some of the pictures are a under or over exposed as a result. But it is not too bad I don't think.

This is on of the houses in the village. It is the House of Evolution. It was established 600 million years ago and is slowly evolving into the Taj Mahal. |

I told her to say cheese. |

This was one of the smaller mazes. |

This village was filled with country-themed buildings. |

Well that's a relief. |
