This morning I had my first ergonomics class.
My teacher was talking about jobs and injuries and such. Then he asked, "has anyone here ever worked in a sawmill?"
How random is that?
Turns out I was the only one in the class that had.
I also had my first ancient history class. I am already in love with it.
It starts at Archaic Greece and goes until the fall of Rome.
Seriously, in love.
The prof even talked a bit about Diocletian today, who was the dictator we picked for our Rome-themed camp this summer.
I am also trying to get into a crusades history class. I want to take it so bad, but right now it is full. I went to the class today anyways. I was pretty sure that I would have been able to get into it by now. Usually there are at least a few people who drop a class after the first day. However, no luck so far. But the class seemed wonderful, and I have had the teacher before. He is fantastic. I will be bummed if I can't take it. They only offer this course in the fall, so I am SOL if I can't get in now.
Since the class ended at 5:15 I have been sitting in close proximity to my computer, constantly refreshing the history page hoping the class will open up. I getting discouraged :(
