Awake my soul.

I am starting a semester-long challenge/goal.

It is mainly financial and has 2 parts.

The first that for this semester, I will not buy any food at the University. I am doing this with my roommate. It includes all restaurants and vending machines. The only thing that we are allowed to buy is water. However, we both plan to always have our own water or other drinks with us from home, so that shouldn't be necessary.

The second is that I am not going to buy any new clothes for the semester. I have been realizing that I am a ridiculous shopper. I buy things with plastic instead of cash and therefore lose track of how much I spend. I really want to curb that. Also, I have a ton of clothes, and yet I still buy them all the time. SO, no new clothes!

Basically, the only things I want to be buying this semester are food, necessary toiletries (no more buying all the cool new face washes, hair products etc. using them once and then buying a new one), necessary school supplies, and gas for my car.
I am also not going to buy any movies! I have a bunch of movies that I have bought, and haven't even seen yet. So, add that one on, no new movies for the semester.

The one exception to the clothing rule is that I really need to get a reversible jersey for basketball, so if I find one, I will buy it.

ps. this is my 100th blog post :) How fitting that it is the start of all this.
